Alert Level 4
High restrictions. On 1 May 2020, there was an easing of COVID-19 Lockdown as the country moved into Alert Level 4. South Africa will be in Alert Level 4 when there is a moderate to high virus spread with low to moderate readiness in the health sector.
The Western Cape is currently at Adjusted Alert Level 3.
