WHICH BUSINESS CAN OPERATE UNDER ALERT LEVEL 3?

Any business may operate except for those specifically excluded. Certain places and premises remain closed to the public.

Specific Exclusions

  • Night vigils.
  • After-funeral gatherings including “after-tears” gatherings.
  • All social gatherings.
  • Night clubs.
  • All land borders except for limited services as allowed under the exceptions.
  • Initiation practices and post-initiation practices (imigidi) except as specifically permitted.
  • Passenger ships for international leisure purposes, excluding small crafts, in line with health and border law enforcement protocols.
  • Attendance of any sporting event by spectators.
  • Exclusions to public transport and education services as directed.

Places and premises closed to the public

  • Night clubs.
  • The Minister of COGTA may determine, by directions, that a place or premises must be closed if there is a risk of any members of the public being exposed to COVID-19.
