Non-Compulsory Certification of Enterprises through the Bizportal:

  • Enterprises may register for a CIPC Essential Service certificate on bizportal.gov.za
  • Click on the SERVICES button
  • Possession of a CIPC certificate does not constitute permission to operate during the lockdown.
  • Note that that DTIC has stated that it a criminal offence for any business to misrepresent the nature of its operations in order to obtain a CIPC certificate.
