AM I PERMITTED TO BE OUTSIDE MY HOUSE DURING CURFEW HOURS FOR WORK?

Yes, you are.

According to the Level 2 Disaster Management Regulations, you may leave your residence between 10pm and 4am if you have a Permit to Perform an Essential/ Permitted Service (Form 2 Annexure 2) under Alert Level 2. This means that you may be outside of your residence during the curfew hours, as long as you have a permit. Click here to find out who can fill in the permit and to download a permit template.

Always carry identification with you, together with your permit.

You are also allowed to leave your residence if you have a medical or security emergency.
